Elvis Costello & The Imposters – Canceled

Elvis Costello will finally return to Sweden. This time it’s the amazing Dalhalla arena that will host this legendary artist and songwriter.

His name is Declan (Aloysius) Patrick MacManus.
But we know him as ELVIS COSTELLO.

Elvis Costello has followed his musical curiosity during a career that lasts over 30 years.
He is perhaps best known for his time with The Attractions, with which he was elected in to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame 2003. Elvis is also famous for his successful collaborations with The Imposters and pianist Steve Nieve. He has been acclaimed for his collaborations with Burt Bacharach, Brodsky Quartet, Paul McCartney, Swedish Mezzosopher Anne Sofie von Otter, Guitarist Bill Frisell, Composer Roy Nathanson, The Charles Mingus Orchestra, Record Producer and Songwriter T Bone Burnett and Allen Toussaint. Elvis Costello is a singer, songwriter, composer and a producer. He is the master of pop, punk, country, classical, jazz, opera, R & B and other genres that we probably forget. He is also an actor, talk-show host and best-selling author. One of the 100 biggest artists in modern times (according to the magazine Rolling Stone).

Elvis’s latest Sweden concerts were in February 2017 when he visited Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Jönköping. The concerts received standing ovations!

It is with THE IMPOSTERS that ELVIS COSTELLO now returns to Sweden for an exclusive performance in Dalhalla on July 16th.
