Rhapsody in Rock

Next year marks Robert Wells’ 40th anniversary as an artist. The celebration will take place exclusively at Dalhalla on Saturday, August 1, 2026 – the only venue for Rhapsody In Rock during the summer.

For this special evening, Dalhalla will once again be filled with the signature fusion of classical music, rock’n’roll, jazz and pop music that defines Rhapsody In Rock. The audience can expect highlights from Wells’ long career, along with brand new program elements and tributes to the kings of piano throughout the centuries. Taking the stage are solo artists, vocalists, dancers, and the powerful Rhapsody Symphony Orchestra – together creating a magical experience in the limestone quarry.

Rhapsody In Rock has drawn more than two million attendees to approximately 500 performances in Sweden alone. The Dalhalla show will be the 70th concert at the venue since the production’s debut there in 1998.

“I’m incredibly grateful for all the years at Dalhalla, and I want to show that appreciation next summer – on stage, together with the entire ensemble. When we do Rhapsody In Rock, it’s always ‘Less is less, more is best!’” Robert Wells shares.

Over 120 guest artists have appeared in Rhapsody In Rock through the years, and the anniversary edition ‘Best Of Classics’ at Dalhalla in 2026, will feature both familiar and new faces. Without a doubt, Rhapsody In Rock is the longest-running production of its kind in Scandinavian history – and next summer, something truly extraordinary is about to take place.
