A double concert in the quarry awaits when Janne Schaffer Music Story Band & Electric Banana Band takes the stage at Dalhalla!
The evening begins with Janne Schaffer Music Story Band, where legendary guitarist Janne Schaffer invites the audience on a captivating journey through his extensive musical career. Expect plenty of ABBA, Björn J:son Lindh, and Schaffer’s own solo compositions – plus a touch of Bob Marley, and above all, a heartfelt tribute to Ted Gärdestad, who would have turned 70 this year. Schaffer and Gärdestad worked closely together, and Schaffer plays on 69 of the 91 songs that Gärdestad recorded during his lifetime. The show features an expanded Music Story Band including vocal soloists Magnus and Henrik Rongedahl, Tobias Wendeler, and more.
After the intermission, Electric Banana Band takes over the Dalhalla stage – with Lasse “Tigern” Åberg, Klasse “Little Arne” Möllberg, and of course Janne “Zebran” Schaffer, joined by a lively crew of musicians and vocalists in full costume. Expect all the beloved hits with their clever and playful lyrics – Pirayor, Zwampar, and Kameolonter – delivered with humor, joy, and booming sing-alongs echoing between Dalhalla’s mighty limestone walls.
