One of Sweden’s most internationally successful pop bands is finally returning to stages at home. Following years of performances abroad and only a handful of shows in Sweden, The Cardigans are set to return for an exclusive Swedish summer tour, including a show at Dalhalla on July 23, 2027.

It will be a long-awaited return for the band behind global hits including Lovefool, My Favourite Game and Erase/Rewind. The audience can look forward to a night filled with iconic hits, nostalgia and music that has brought generations together. “We’re excited to be playing at these incredible venues here at home this summer. From their formation in Jönköping in 1992 to their international breakthrough with Lovefool in 1997, the band has gained fans around the world and created a catalogue of songs that has truly stood the test of time.

Since returning to the live stage in 2012, The Cardigans have continued to perform internationally, while opportunities to see the band live in Sweden have remained rare. In the summer of 2027, the wait is finally over. With Nina Persson’s distinctive voice, the band’s unmistakable sound and a catalogue filled with beloved classics, the audience can look forward to a magical summer evening at Dalhalla as one of Sweden’s most iconic pop bands takes to the stage in the spectacular limestone quarry.
